This award-winning site was designed for a grassroots humanitarian campaign to return Mother's Day to its original intention—as a day to commemorate the values of peace in the world.

The main function of the site was to inform the audience about the history of Mother's Day and to serve as a direct springboard to action with links to donation pages on the Web sites of four humanitarian organizations providing relief to the victims of war.

The site was designed to be warm and inviting in look and feel, informative, easy-to-navigate, and especially to mobilize the visitor to act compassionately and make a donation.
