On March 18,
2003, EveryMothe's Day held an Open House in Sherborn, MA. Members
of the group spoke about the origins and mission of our project and
we all had the pleasure of listening to speakers from two of our recommended
humanitarian organizations: the New England Director of the Irternational
Rescue Committee and a midwife who represented Doctors Without Borders.

From
US. Congressman Barney Frank
May
2, 2002
"I am very
pleased to have a chance to express my strong support for the concept
of EveryMother's Day. I can think of no better way to celebrate the
values of motherhood to which we all pay homage than to use this day
to help people who are in desperate need through no fault of their
own. The mothers who have brought us this concept are giving all of
us a great gift on Mother's Day an appeal to act on the best
that is within us".
Barney Frank (D,
MA)
