I
am very open to working with Interior Designers. Frequently
Designers are the first to spot the need for a floorcloth in
a particular job. There are many
areas of the home in which a floorcloth is the perfect choice
for a floorcovering. Perhaps it's the dining room table that
cries out for a durable, easy-to-clean rug or an odd spot in
the decor that needs that extra something. Maybe it's a utility
area that needs some color and style. Or you are decorating
a summer or getaway home where the rugs need to stand up to
an outdoorsy life style.
My
design philosophy
is much like that of many Interior Designers: I try understand
my clients and to give form to their internal vision.
I
generally offer Designers a finder's fee or commission. There
is no financial exposure to you. Some Designers prefer to be
actively involved in the design and creation of the rug, while
others introduce the client to me and I handle all the details.
In either case you will be involved in the approval
of the design.
Retailers
My
floorcloths have been on display in craft galleries and home
furnishing stores. I generally do not sell rugs right off the
floor. Rather, customers can place orders from floor samples
with choices of size and colorways.
