This
floorcloth is in my personal collection. It has functioned
beautifully for years in a very high-traffic foyer
in my home (with 2 dogs) without showing any significant signs
of wear. It was created using many coats of wine-red glaze
that give considerable depth and richness to the overall effect--
one of old leather. The decorative elements were applied in
gold leaf using hand-made stencils.
